Why do so many CURAD products now say “Not made with natural rubber latex” instead of “Latex-free” like they used to? Have they changed in some way?

No, the products have stayed the same, but the wording has changed. The FDA has recommended that medical manufacturers replace “Latex-free” with “Not made with natural rubber latex” to indicate when a product is not made with latex proteins during the manufacturing process. This terminology is more scientifically accurate.
